View Captured Images

To view captured images select the third item along in the toolbar or View Captured Images from the Detection menu.

This will display the screen which allows you view and manage any images that have been saved from motion detection.

On the left there are upto 4 cameras to choose from (if you have bought or are trialling the Professional Mode). Selecting each of these will show images captured under that camera. Below the camera selection is a list of images separated into days and then hours so it is easy to locate busy periods or times where you would not have expected any activity. To view an image simply click on it.

Deleting Images

To delete images, select them by clicking the box next to them and then click the Delete Images button. If you want to delete all images in an hour or a day it is possible to click theses boxes to select all images underneath. Finally, to delete all images in view, click the Delete All Images button.

Making and AVI

As explained before, select the images that you wish to perform this operation on and then click Write to AVI. You will be asked what frame rate that you wish to write the AVI as. If you wish to make it look about real time, 5 might be a good figure as this is normally about how many images are captured a second. You will also be asked what 'codec' to use. This affects the AVI image quality and also the final AVI file size. The options available will depend greatly on what has been installed on your system so simply try the codecs out to see which fits your needs.
