Start and Stop Motion Detection

Start Detection

To Start Motion Detection click the first item on the tool bar or select Start Detection from the Detection menu. The system will now count down to 0 (default is 5 seconds) giving you opportunity to leave the are which you are to monitor.You have the opportunity to abort Detection or start immediately by selecting one of the buttons available.

When the system is monitoring for movement you will see the status bar will state that each camera is 'Processing'. If motion is detected the status bar will display 'Saving' followed by how many images that camera has saved this session.

Stop Detection

To Stop Motion Detection click the second item on the tool bar or select Stop Detection from the Detection menu. The status will show the cameras that are 'Connected' or 'Not Connected'.

Note

While Detection is taking place a number of options are disabled. You can however change most options (like sensitivity) to obtain the desired configuration.
